Dumbo, the flying elephant happened to be a good movie for everyone to watch. The movie is about an unusual calf that has very large ears and also an unique ability to fly.
Not surprisingly everyone only looks at it’s unusualness until it overcomes his fear and proves he can fly. I guess it’s the same with most of us.
I have also noticed that it has its motivation to meet his lost mommy so it shows others it can fly. And everyone of us need a good motivation to overcome our fears to show others our potential. And important thing is it’s not just motivation but also a meaningful one.
During it’s early days Dumbo finds good support from the kids it befriends with and so trusts them, and shows them it can fly. Just like we trust ones that support us.
Another interesting thing I noticed is that when Dumbo is learning to fly, it relies on a feather to fly, just like me. Once it gets good it doesn’t need the feather anymore. I’m soon hoping to fly high and show everyone that I can fly without needing any feather.
Golden rule of thumb is that the process is the same for Dumbo the flying elephant or for any one else.
I take good learning from this movie and suggest you all to watch it too!

That’s awesome that you enjoyed the movie and the message. It is said that courage is not the lack of fear, but it is acting in spite of it.
What an insightful review of the movie that I have on my summer watch list! Humans, unfortunately, have a tendency to call someone “dumb” or a “dumbo” not realizing their true potential and I sure hope that this movie and your review of the movie, especially, will provide a positive message for change. P. S. I like the use of the word “befriend”. Rarely do I see kids use that so well! #Bravo
