134: Migration Movie Review

The movie is about a family of four ducks that want to travel around and explore the world. The papa duck is more passive to leave behind their mighty pond. He is utterly concerned about the safety of his family. But the other ducks think that he is a coward and is not letting them experience the outside world. The family finally decides to fly south for the winter and they start their migration to the beautiful Jamaica.

The story revolves around the various hurdles they encounter along their journey, starting with flying in the wrong direction and landing in New York. They get into trouble with a cruel chef whose intention is to kill and make a meal out of them. The papa duck bravely goes on and fights the chef to rescue not only his family, but also his friends. He says “when everything becomes hopeless, you need to be optimistic”. With this mindset, the ducks wonderfully overcome their challenges and finally reach Jamaica.

The movie is greatly entertaining and enjoyable. I recommend watching it with your kids.
