130: The Planetarium

I recently visited a planetarium and I am really amused. I learnt a lot of amazing lessons about space and stars.

I got to watch a show about sources of life in space. I learnt that water is the most important thing to create and nurture life. Even the microorganisms, cells and nuclei need water to communicate with each other and survive. Hence the NASA scientists are looking for signs of water on the red planet (Mars). They are also looking for water or water like liquids on Saturn moons. They also think that there’s a lot of planetary systems in space and every star we see in the sky has planets revolving around them.

Earth is in the Goldilocks zone – the perfect distance from sun for life to occur and the scientists are looking at other planets in the Goldilocks zone from their suns.
